Terms of Service
Last updated: October 13, 2026
These supplemental terms form an agreement between you and Ulaş Sancak, Bakırköy, İstanbul, Türkiye, the operator of Expensia (“we”). They supplement Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If they conflict, mandatory law and the Apple terms applicable to the license prevail.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 and legally able to agree to these terms. If local law requires a higher age or parental authorization, that rule applies. You are responsible for your account, your sign-in provider, and activity under your credentials. Provide accurate information and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
2. The service
Expensia lets you record one-time and recurring expenses, view dashboards and insights, manage categories and budgets, attach receipt photos, export records, use widgets, and sync supported data. Availability may depend on device, operating system, region, network, and subscription status.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of expense records and receipt photos you submit. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, back up, sync, display, and transmit that content only as needed to provide, secure, and support Expensia. This license ends when the content is deleted, except for lawful retention and limited backup cycles. You confirm that you have the right to upload your content.
4. Free and Pro
The Free plan currently allows up to 10 manually entered expenses per calendar month and 2 active recurring schedules. Automatically generated recurring instances do not consume the manual-entry limit. Pro removes those limits and includes category budgets, receipt photos, and CSV/PDF export. We may change features prospectively, but will communicate material changes as required.
5. Subscriptions
- Pro is sold through Apple as an auto-renewing subscription. The price, billing period, taxes, trial, and promotional terms shown by Apple at purchase control.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID. The subscription renews unless canceled through Apple before the renewal deadline shown for your account.
- Manage or cancel at Apple Subscriptions. Deleting Expensia or your account does not cancel the subscription.
- Refund requests are handled by Apple, subject to mandatory consumer law. Restore Purchases can recover qualifying access.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, bypass access or subscription controls, probe or disrupt security, upload unlawful or harmful material, infringe others’ rights, reverse engineer except where law permits it, or use automated means that burden the service.
7. Account deletion and termination
You may permanently delete your account from Settings after fresh authentication, or after confirmation for a guest account. A guest account cannot be recovered once deleted; link Apple or Google in Settings to keep access across devices. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, security risk, legal necessity, or discontinuation of the service. Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice. Provisions that by nature should survive termination remain effective.
8. Important limitations
Expensia is an organizational tool, not financial, accounting, tax, investment, or legal advice. Verify exports and totals before relying on them. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” without guarantees of uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss to the extent such exclusion is lawful.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections.
9. Intellectual property
Expensia’s software, branding, interface, and supplied content belong to us or our licensors. These terms grant only the limited right to use the app under the Apple license and do not transfer intellectual-property ownership.
10. Changes, law, and contact
We may update these terms prospectively and will give notice of material changes as required. Applicable law and competent courts govern disputes, without limiting mandatory consumer protections or rights available in your place of residence.
